Our Story
18 years in any industry is a long time, 18 years in hospitality? Oh the stories………. Bars, pubs, nightclubs, gigs, events, club nights, music festivals, lock-ins, promoting, bookings, marketing and a fair few after parties you name it, Ultimate Brews founder Chad Hopa has done it. A passion from somebody who comes directly from the hospitality industry and who’s always been about the industry has seen Chad launch Ultimate Brew Company in 2018.
Beer that is designed, crafted and brewed directly in Auckland, New Zealand whilst inspired by urban street culture from across the globe, Ultimate Brews goal is to create the ultimate experience and change the craft beer game.
Ultimate Brews first drop was their take on the NZ Pale Ale, the result? The most bad*ss premium beer ironically named the Ultimate Pale Ale. Ultimate Brews second release, the Ultimate Session IPA is due to hit shelves April 2019 with a serious bang.

Our Flagship Beers
Ultimate Pale Ale (Released 8th November 2018)
One of the most bad*ss pale ales on the market made directly in Auckland, NZ. This beer is already creating big waves in the industry, with its delicious tropical fruit characteristics and a hint of pine and grapefruit. To help bring out its refreshing citrus aroma the Ultimate Pale Ale was heavily dry hopped with NZ Taiheke so is sure to satisfy you hop heads- a perfect for the summer months ahead.
Ultimate Session IPA (Released 12th April 2019)
The Beer- Our Ultimate Session IPA is just that. A sessionable Ale you can drink any time of the day, which sits at 4.4% ABV whilst still having the full flavours of an IPA. Using Motueka and Taiheke hops this great tasting beer has the right balance and perfect for any occasion.
The Packaging- Do you like turtles? Do you want them to swim freely with other turtle friends? Do you want to save the turtles? If you answered yes then drink the Ultimate Session IPA. Why you ask??? Because Ultimate Brew have teamed up with a revolutionary company from North America to bring over eco-friendly bio-degradable beer rings for our 6 packs which when disposed at a compostable facility will degrade within days. So grab yourself some cold ones, pop tops and save the turtles.
